Go to the current outings schedule
The MTG schedules at least two outings each month which are designed to appeal to a variety of interests and abilities.
Some events you will see offered are:
- Day Hikes
- Backpacking Trips
- Canoeing & Kayaking Trips
- Clean-up Hikes
- Trail Building Events
- Wilderness Training
- And, other educational events
Over the years many of our outings have become traditions for the MTG, such as the Hobbs Cabin December Backpack, the Memorial Day Backpack to Joyce-Kimer Slickrock Wilderness and the June Highlands of Road Backpack. Someone once said that "the people who participate in these types of activities are the
earth's most ardent defenders".
Visitors are ALWAYS welcome! Most of our events are free, or very low cost, so there is every reason to attend one of our events. We'd love to see ya!
