Middle Tennessee Group of the Sierra Club Enjoying the outdoors
Conservation News

Since 1892, the Sierra Club has been working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. We are the oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. Inspired by nature, we are 1.3 million of your friends and neighbors, working together to protect our communities and the planet.

Our Mission:
  1. Explore, enjoy and protect the wild places of the earth, starting right here in Tennessee.
  2. Practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources.
  3. Educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment.
  4. Use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

Within Middle Tennessee group, we are always seeking people to join us and help protect the gift our future generations have entrusted to us. No matter where your passion lies, preserving forests, protecting our air quality, keeping pollutants out of our ground water, or simply enjoying the outdoors, we cannot do it without you.

If you have any questions or want to volunteer, please send us an email.

Need help or have questions about a conservation issue, please send us an email.
