Who we are - What we do

Welcome to the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Sierra Club! We are an active local group, made up of volunteers dedicated to exploring, preserving and sharing the beauty of our nation's and Tennessee’s wild spaces.

Nationwide, Sierra Club members and supporters are made up of more than 1.3 million people, just like you. We are the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. Come dream, discuss and discover with us. Together we can make a real difference for today and into the future.

We are outdoor enthusiasts, exploring and protecting all that Tennessee has to offer. Together we host group hikes, floats, informative monthly programs and group outings and provide our community with environmental education programs, legislative support, and opportunities to learn from and share our love of the outdoors.

To be added to our e-list and receive a monthly calendar, notices of local activities, issues, meetings and other events, email Sarah.
